Our system of determining flood status and preparing flood certifications is the easiest, most efficient and economical way for banks and mortgage lenders to meet their flood certification requirements on mortgages.  There is no software to buy nor any long-term commitments to make.  Simply log on to our website, submit an address and, in most cases, receive your certification instantly in a ready to print format. 

Our custom GIS mapping system consisting of the latest FIRM maps and street address information can pinpoint a property and determine its flood zone status automatically, within seconds and without human intervention. Our database covers over 90% of all properties in the United States. However, for those properties not included in our system, specially trained members of our staff will investigate the property manually, as they have done for years.  

You can begin using our flood determination service by simply filling out our online registration form. An Advantage representative will then look over your form, activate you account and contact you to let you know the account is active.  Each time you use the service, you will sign on with your username and password.  You will then be asked to provide the geographical address of the property, the PIN number, the loan number and the borrower's name. Then just click the submit button and your certification will appear on your screen within a few seconds.  You also have the option of having it sent to an email address or fax number.  If the property you are dealing with can not be located automatically, you will be notified immediately and given the option of having a manual determination performed.  Manual determinations are made by our trained staff using the most current FIRM maps.  We guarantee return certifications within 24 hours, but most manual requests are processed in just 2-3 hours.

Our Life of Loan service will provide you with notification of any changes to the status of a property within 60 days of the FEMA published update.  You may choose how you wish to be notified, by email or fax.  

HMDA and census tract information will be automatically delivered with all flood certifications at no extra cost.
